A structure fire broke out early Monday morning in Ashland– the call came in just before 5 AM.
A chicken coop caught on fire on Normal ave near Highway 99 and SOU– later catching a tree on fire.
Flames were originally reported at 100 feet in the air– we now know it was closer to 40 feet, after the tree caught.
The blaze was contained around 5:40 AM.
The investigation into what caused the fire will continue.
