Ashland Preps Early for Fourth of July Parade

Hundreds of people are expected to flock to Ashland for the annual Fourth of July Parade. This year’s theme is ‘Be Active, Be Healthy.’

The Carter-Fortmiller House has invited a large number of family and friends to gather on the lawn and watch the parade. It’s an annual tradition for Jesse Repp and his family.

“Our friends come and go, and our friends invite friends, and there’s usually, I don’t know, 60, 80, 100 people floating in and out,” Repp said.

This year, Repp said people will get an early start, and camp out on the lawn the night of the third.

“Whoever wants to just camp out, front yard or back yard, we’re going to set up tents and do a camp out,” Repp said.

This year, the parade will begin at 10 AM at Triangle Park, and run down Siskiyou Boulevard to the Ashland Plaza.
