A young girl escapes a kidnap attempt and the Josephine County Sheriff’s Department is still on the hunt to find her abductor.
Late last month, a 13 year-old girl was riding her bike near Lincoln Savage Middle School, on New Hope Road when she was dragged into a truck by a stranger. The man drove away with her for about a mile before she was able to open the door and escape.
The suspect is described as a tall white male about 250 pounds. He has brown, shoulder-length curly hair, a thin goatee and a scar on the right side of his neck just under his jaw. If you have any information you are asked to call police.
