Lynnwood, Wa.– This is one Baskin Robbins worker you do not want to mess with. 19-year-old Rachael Bishop said despite flashing a gun, she started throwing punches when a robber kept grabbing into the cash register for money.
He managed to take $280. She kept punching and chased him out of the store and through the strip mall parking lot. Bystanders joined in.
Police say the citizen effort led to his quick arrest.
But police do not recommending fighting off someone like that.
Theemployee’s boss told her afterward she should have just handed the money over.Bishop says yes, it wasnot a wise decision to punch someone with a gun, but she acted on instinct. She says she wouldn’t do it again.
