Yreka, Calif. –Police in Northern California are investigating a body found in Yreka Creek.
The body of an Asian adult male was discovered in the creek Thursday afternoon just south of Montague Road.
Yreka Police say they believe they know who the man is but are waiting for positive identification from the coroner’s office and to notify next of kin before releasing a name.
