BREAKING: Phoenix bank robbery

640x360_30419B00-BIKDXUpdate, 1/21/16 at 6:35 PM: Police have arrested Daniel Pelleschi, after he was discovered in a nearby mobile home park with cash and a gun. Police found him after a resident of the park saw Pelleschi running in the area.

Just 45 minutes after the bank robbery was reported, Pelleschi was taken into custody on warrants, however he is being investigated and questioned in the bank robbery.

Police are not releasing the amount of money that was taken. They say they have recovered some cash, and a handgun, although tellers did not report seeing a weapon in the robbery.

Officials say he is well known to law enforcement.

Phoenix, Ore. — Police in Phoenix swarm a bank branch that was robbed around 4 Thursday afternoon. It happened at the Umpqua Bank branch at 4,000 South Pacific Highway. That’s just north of Fern Valley Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’11”, wearing brown hoodie and black peacoat, tattoos on hands.
