Burglary suspect arrested in Grants Pass

Grants Pass, Ore. — Burglary suspect Caleb Bradley was taken into custody on Tuesday, December 13 in Grants Pass, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

On December 9, police issued warning to the public to be on the lookout Bradley after he was accused stealing a vehicle and multiple firearms.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Bradley was identified as a suspect in November after he allegedly stole over $20,000 worth of property from a residence on Ramsey Road in the Sams Valley area of Jackson County.

Deputies said two more burglaries were reported in the same area within the span of a couple of weeks. Multiple items were reported stolen, including a vehicle and numerous firearms. Caleb Bradley was identified as a suspect in those burglaries as well.

NBC5 previously reported in March that Bradley was accused of leading police on a chase, both in a car and on foot. Police said Bradley was allegedly driving a silver Mercedes that failed to pull over after an attempted traffic stop. After a chase down North River Road, police said Bradley and Taylor Peterson got out and ran.

According to officers, Bradley and Peterson were both found by police after two hours of searching. Peterson cited for trespass and released. Four guns were found near the Mercedes.

In another incident on October 25, Bradley allegedly barricaded himself in a motorhome after he was identified as a suspect who caused a serious crash on I-5 in Josephine County. While Bradley was identified by police as the owner of the silver Mercedes involved, investigators later said they don’t believe Bradley driving in the crash.
