The event will feature 80 music groups and 12 artists at 12 venues throughout the downtown area.

One of the venues is Medford’s historic Holly Theater. It is the first time in 28 years that the Holly has opened it’s doors to the public.

Vendors said they are excited for this years events.

“I’m hoping a lot of people come through and come out and get festive with the art, naturally,” said Amber Bishop.

The music groups will include the Shook Twins, Tony Furtado and dozens of other performers.

Organizers said it’s a pretty eclectic mix of bands not normally seen in the Rogue Valley.

Downtown Art+Sound runs Friday and Saturday.
