Eagle Point woman arrested after failing to appear in court

Chiloquin, Ore. –The Eagle Point woman accused of killing three dogs by leaving them in a hot car has pled not guilty.

65-year-old Alice Violet Taylor was arrested in Chiloquin on Monday afternoon but released without bail.

A warrant was issued after she failed to appear in court last week on multiple counts of First Degree Animal Abuse.

Police say Taylor left three Rottweilers in a hot car on June 2nd near Chiloquin. None of the dogs survived. Taylor had three more dogs with her when she was arrested. She is set to be back in court in August.
