Monday morning, East Main Street in Medford is now only one lane wide going both directions.
The new paving and re-striping brings in a center turn lane.
Changes begin near Hawthorne park, and continue to Crater Lake Avenue.
If you are out traveling in the area, officials advise those drivers to take a little extra time this morning.
