Medford, Ore. — High winds on Saturday caused a tree to come crashing down and killed a man sleeping in a tent.
It happened Saturday morning along the Bear Creek Greenway; Medford Police say that 23 year old Joseph Jones was the only person inside of the tent and he was declared dead on scene.
Police say this particular area was just cleared of transients so Jones must have set up camp there recently.
