Medford Police conducts Minor Decoy Compliance Check over weekend

Medford, Ore. — Medford police conducted a Minor Decoy Compliance Check at various businesses over the weekend.

The department along with the Oregon Liquor Control Commission conducts the checks to combat the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors.

11 stores and bars that were previously cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor over the past year were re-checked for coming into compliance; six of those did not pass, including the Woodland Heights Market, the Thrifty-Nifty Market, the Bi-More Station, Rumors Karaoke Lounge, and The Whiskey Room.

Sources Restaurant and Bar was also cited, it was their first compliance check since they opened.
