Federal Express has announced that its rates will increase next year for expedited shipping.
The rates are expected to increase an average of 3.9% percent for U.S Domestic and International Services.
Ground deliveries through FedEx are also expected to increase, but that announcement is not expected until later this year. The increase is set to go into effect on January 6th.
Over the past few years, customers have chosen slower but cheaper delivery options. Now, industry experts say that the new rate increase indicates the market may be stabilizing.
