White City, Ore. — A man and a woman are in the hospital with injuries from a fire that destroyed their home and everything in it.
Fire officials from Jackson County Fire District Three said the fire started in the couple’s double wide mobile home on Falcon Street at 11:00 Saturday morning. They said it took firefighters about 30 minutes to contain the blaze.
The woman was able to get out of the home, But the man was inside sleeping. Fire officials saID he was pulled out of a window by a neighbor.
He is now in Portland receiving treatments for his injuries. The woman is at Rogue Regional Medical Center. They are both expected to be okay, but their home is a total loss.
