Medford, Ore. – The burger craze in Medford isn’t quite over yet. A location has been chosen for a new commercial building that will house Five Guys Burgers.
NBC5 News told you in the spring the chain was looking to come to Medford. Batzer construction has been hired to build a new commercial space, located on Center drive, across the street from Walmart.
The new building will house two businesses, and Five Guys will be one of them. According to the construction company, the plans for Five Guys will be submitted to the city within the next three to four weeks.
It’s not clear what other business will occupy the second space, but we do know it will have a drive-through. Construction is expected to begin sometime next spring.
