Grants Pass man sentenced for stabbing incident

151023bGrants Pass, Ore. — A Grants Pass man is sentenced to prison for stabbing another man last June.

25-year-old Joseph Lee Bollom is sentenced to two years with the Oregon Department of Corrections after his conviction for unlawful use of a weapon.

On June 6th Grants Pass Police say Bollom stabbed a 38-year-old man in the chest during an argument.

Other charges were dropped as part of a plea deal.

Bollom is also sentenced to 2 years of post-prison supervision and a $640 fine.
