A Transportation Security Administration employee was killed and several more people were wounded when a man armed with a rifle opened fire inside Los Angeles International Airport Friday.
The alleged gunman was later wounded in an exchange of gunfire with police and is now in custody.
Witnesses said the suspect pulled his gun from a bag as he approached a security checkpoint and began firing.
Seven injuries were reported; six of those were taken to local hospitals.
