Over 70 exhibits were set up on the lawn, with everything from arts and crafts to food and games. Numerous musical groups provided free entertainment, and hands-on activities were running all day long to educate visitors about the environment.
“We’ve drawn people from all over the valley to come learn about what they can do to make the world a better place, to conserve resources, to practice environmental stewardship, and to be good citizens of the planet,” said Paige Prewett, the event manager.
This year’s theme was ‘Rising to the Challenge.’ The event has been around for 15 years.
