Jackson County Fair sees very successful year

FAIR PICCentral Point, Ore. —  Gates are closing at the Jackson County Expo Sunday night, wrapping up one of the most successful years of the Jackson County Fair ever.

Organizers said at last count on Friday night, more than 40,000 people had passed through the gates. That number is expected to climb with the addition of Saturday and Sunday’s numbers.

Admission all day on Sunday was free, and families came out for one final day of fun. Kids across the Rogue Valley wore themselves out with rides, fair food, and games over the past five days.

Gates officially close at 7 PM Sunday night.
