59 year old Shirley Williford of Dorris was killed in this crash on highway 97 about 13 miles South of Klamath Falls.
Officials said “The operator of that particular vehicle lost control on the icy roadway, the vehicle slid over into the northbound lane, and collided nearly head on with a tractor semi.”
Trucker Robert Parenteau of Hollister, California was not injured in the crash. Williford’s 15 year old grand daughter, Sara Yeager, is listed in ‘serious’ condition today at Sky Lakes Medical Center.
