MEDFORD, ORE. — One area hospital is doing it’s part to reduce water consumption. Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center’s kitchen is now equipped with new dishwashers that use less energy, and less water.
“It saves about 16,000 gallons of water a week,” Aaron Fredrikson says, “Which is equivalent to an average swimming pool.”
Hospital staff says with recent numbers showing low snow pack and lake levels around the region, they’re happy to do their part to help.
