Local Philanthropist Honored With Broadway Star Concert

Lights, limos and red carpets.

A Broadway star is in the valley tonight to help honor a local philanthropist.

Bernadette Peters is hosted a celebration concert Sunday night at the Craterian Theater.

It’s all to honor Jim Collier, the Craterian’s benefactor for whom the building was renamed the Collier Center for the Performing Arts.

Collier says it’s quite the honor.

“I call it my second child, Camelot was my first theater that was named after me, now the Craterian is named after me so, I am very excited about the honor and having my name here in the center of Medford on the Craterian Theater,” said Collier

Collier got a front row seat to the sold out performance.
