Logos Envirothon Team fundraising for national competition

Medford, Ore. –After a very successful season the Logos Envirothon Team is on their way to the North American Competition in Missouri, but they need help getting there.

They’re the first team from Southern Oregon to win state and have the opportunity to compete against other teams from across the nation and Canada in July.

“The girls did fantastic. They won four out of six scenarios at the state competition. And they just did awesome they won them by far,” coach Christopher VanNess said.

The team kicked off a series of fundraisers with a garage sale at Logos Charter School in Medford. All the money raised will go toward travel expenses.

The team is made up of seven girls. They’ll be tested on their skills and knowledge in soils, aquatics, wildlife, and forestry.
