Medford, Ore. — Medford Police are searching for two suspects after they say a 25-year-old man was assaulted and robbed inside a bathroom at the south Medford Walmart.
MPD says one of the suspects followed the victim into the bathroom, punched the victim in his face and then stole his firearm. Officials say the victim had a Concealed Handgun License, authorizing him to carry concealed.
Video surveillance shows that the suspect was accompanied by another individual. MPD says the suspects split up as the one suspect followed the victim into the bathroom. The second suspect waited outside.
After the robbery, video surveillance shows the suspect running out an emergency exit as he is concealing the stolen handgun in his waistband. The two suspects then meet up and leave in a dark colored sedan.
The first suspect is described as:
– White male
– Mid 30s
– Medium build
– 6’2”
– Black Raiders t-shirt over gray long sleeved shirt
– Blue jean shorts
– White and black tennis shoes
– Flat billed hat
The second suspect is described as:
– Hispanic male
– 20s – 30s
– 5’10”
– White shorts
– Gray and black pullover jacket with red drawstrings
– Black beanie with red stripe
– Red and white tennis shoes
