Today Rogue Valley media outlets went head-to-head for a good cause.
The event, “Kickball for Grownups” was held to benefit the Ethan Jostad Foundation.
Ethan was 9-years-old when he lost his battle with cancer back in August of 2011.
His mother says she was grateful for the support.
“The only reason we’re able to do what we’re doing through the foundation is because of the community so it was very exciting and very humbling to see so many people here,” said Kim Jostad, Ethan’s mother.
Media outlets collectively raised $889.
The money will go toward toys for children fighting cancer and helping their families get through tough financial times.
