Missing autistic boy found safe in Eagle Point

SirensEagle Point, Ore. —  A happy ending for a missing child in Eagle Point Friday. Police say a young autistic boy left his home around 11 Friday morning, and when his parents couldn’t find him they called police.

It took Eagle Point police officers and sheriff’s deputies about 20 minutes to find the boy, who was located about 3 blocks from his home on Win Way. Police say the boy was uninjured.
