Curry County, Ore. — A missing man is found and then arrested by Curry County sheriffs.
47-year-old Richard Viazanko was reported missing Sunday night in the Wilson Creek area, after going mushroom hunting with two others. Curry County officials conducted a search Sunday night but was called off due to poor search conditions.
When the search resumed Monday morning, a fishing guide was able to locate Viazanko who was suffering from hypothermia and other minor injuries.
He was released from the hospital but later arrested for an active warrant for driving under the influence and resisting arrest. He’s lodged at the Curry County Jail.
