Applegate Lake, Ore. — Two hikers missing since Friday have been found alive in the Applegate Valley.
60 year old Keith Hoover and 23 year old Julie Swisher were located this afternoon on the Azalea Trail. Hoover was airlifted out and taken to a local hospital, his condition is unknown. Swisher was examined and released.
The two went out for a three day hike Tuesday but didn’t return when they were supposed to on Friday. Search teams from across the region including a National Guard helicopter assisted in the rescue operation. More information is expected to be released tomorrow.
