Ore. — At a ceremonial signing, Governor Kate Brown has approved a new law that will assist a new sobering center in Grants Pass.
House bill 29-36 expands the use of sobering facilities across the state.
The measure was spearheaded by residents in Grants Pass who created the Grants Pass Sobering Center.
The legislature also approved half a million dollars for the sobering facility through a different bill.
