OIT president staying put

1460716097_14b0aa0956_zKlamath Falls, Ore. — It looks like Oregon Tech’s president won’t be leaving the school anytime soon.

School President Christopher Maples was a finalist for the president at Marshall University in West Virginia.

But the school announced Tuesday that they’re hiring a Mississippi State Chief Academic Officer as their next president.

Maples became Oregon Institute of Technology’s sixth president in October of 2008.
