Oregon State Police searching for missing Grants Pass man

James McNealGrants Pass, Ore. — A Grants Pass man is asking for help in finding his brother who went missing last month.

LeRoy McNeal hasn’t seen his brother James McNeal since the end of May, and thinks he could be in danger. LeRoy said his 59-year-old brother was seen at Riverside Park in May and was spotted in Yreka in the past two weeks.

LeRoy said the family thinks James could be in the Illinois Valley area. He said James is very friendly and he’s afraid someone may try to take advantage of him.

“He could have a little bit better judgement as to who he hangs out with, who he runs around with, or who he associates with,” LeRoy said.

LeRoy said his brother hasn’t picked up his medications for bipolar, depression, and anxiety. The family thinks he’s physically well, but is concerned about his mental health.

Oregon State Police said James is 5’7″ and 175 pounds. He may be riding a flat black 1984 Honda Comanche motorcycle, wearing a black helmet with an American flag sticker, a black vest that possibly says “Vagos” and the words “AFT” or “ATF” on the front, black pants and black boots.

If you see him or know where he could be you’re asked to call 541-776-6111.
