Pear Blossom festivities wrap up

Medford, Ore.– Bright and early Saturday morning runners were on their marks atMedford City Hall.

For a 5k and 10 mile run. Starting day two for Medford’s 61st annual Pear Blossom Festival. More than 2,700 runners finished the course. For many though, the day was about something else.

“We’re excited to see the parade and have fun,” said Kenna Sexton.

Thousands lined up in downtown Medford for the Pear Blossom Paradewith 150 entries and 4,000 participants. From marching bands to roller girls

And over at The Commons a street fair. Where there was something for everyone. Whether it was tasty treatsor laying back and listening to some tunes

Pear Blossom Association members said the biggest weekend in Medford brought in over 25,000 people. They said this year more people stuck around longer to take it all in.
