UPDATE: Teen safe; former deputy behind bars

Update (4/13 4:25pm): 17 year old Marriah Andrews contacted police in Lakeview Sunday afternoon and is reportedly safe and unharmed.

Oregon State Police thank the public for the assitance in helping to locate both Andrews and Turkle.

Update (4/13 11:25am): Oregon State Police report that Kenneth D. Turkle, a former Lake County Sheriff Deputy, turned himself in at the Lake County Jail on Sunday morning.

17 year old, Marriah F. Andrews remains missing.

Turkle was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for 3 counts of Sex Abuse in the Third Degree and 3 counts of Contributing to the Sexual Delinquency of a Minor.

Investigatorsallege the two were involved in a sexual relationship.

Lakeview, Ore. — Oregon State Police are asking for the public’s in locating 17 year old Marriah F. Andrews and 42 year old Kenneth D. Turkle, both of Lakeview, Oregon.

Police believe Andrews may be endangered since Turkle is wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.

The two wereallegedly involved in a recent sexual relationship.

According to OSP, the two were last seen in the Grants Pass area Friday morning. No vehicle description was given.

Andrews is described as a white female, with blonde hair, blue eyes and a pierced nose.

Turkle is described as a white male, 5’8″, 180 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.
