Police Capture Two Juveniles After Escape From Detention Center

Two inmates of the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Center are back in custody, after breaking out.

Police were called out to the Detention Center around 11:30 Wednesday night.

Officials say the two inmates used bed sheets tied together to escape from the third floor.

Police took both boys back into custody 22 minutes later, on Oak street.

One of the inmates, Geoffrey Buckalew is now 18, and was taken to the Jackson County Jail.

The other is still a minor, and was transported back to the Detention Center.

They both are facing Criminal Mischief One.

This is the second break-out from the Detention Center in a year.
