The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s office discovers possible human remains in the Scotts Valley area of Western Siskiyou County
The investigation began on Sunday near North Kidder Creek road.
The bones are now being sent to an outside anthropology lab for further analysis.
Siskiyou County Sheriff John Lopey said if the remains are in fact human, they ‘ll be compared to any unsolved homicide or missing person cases currently open.
