The Randall Theatre is changing and I’m not just talking about the seasonal transition from Shriketoberfest and their Christmas fun, to the March schedule…it’s a whole lot bigger. Robin Downward, Founder of the theatre says “we are currently taking on a lot of renovations, some of the rotary members are helping us put in new restrooms.”
Before you enjoy the new “inside” theatre experience..an old piece of Medford history will soon greet you at the door.
“The old Holly Worth sign is getting renovated and it will become the new Randall Theatre sign.” Some of the renovations come with a price tag, but the Randall Theatre always offers some entertainment for your donations. Robin says “we are having murder mystery dinner on March 2nd and the donations will help pay for our new heating and cooling system”
After the who done it dinner, the Theatre will move on to the March performances. Robin says “we will do the Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, a hilarious comedy”
Robin hopes this rebirth of the theatre, helps create a new feeling in downtown Medford
