Rogue River city council passes taxes on marijuana businesses

Rogue River, Ore. — Marijuana businesses will be able to set up shop in Rogue River, but there are some taxes they’ll need to uphold.

Rogue River city council passed two resolutions on cannabis tonight.

One will allow the city to follow state laws, versus federal, so they can issue business licenses for marijuana facilities.

The other will create a tax on marijuana and medibles.

5% for medical and 10% for recreational when it becomes legal.
