Las Vegas, Nev. — (KSNV) An elderly man survives a brutal beating in a bizarre attack inside his Las Vegas home. Family members say the suspect fell asleep after the attack.
The suspect was nearly naked in the victim’s bed when police showed up to arrest him.
A relative of the victim said, your home is supposed to be your safe place. For some stranger to come in and do this to us, its not right.
The relative said a stranger slipped into the familys garage through an unlocked door and attacked her grandfather, whose room was there.
He told me someone came in my room, knocked me out of the bed, and he started beating me up on the floor, she said. From his arm all the way up to his shoulder was soaked in blood. The shirt was even dropping blood.
The victim suffered a fractured arm and shoulder and bruised head. He is recovering at a Las Vegas hospital.
