South Umpqua School District Put On Lock Down After Social Media Threats

An entire Southern Oregon school district is put on lock down, after police discover multiple threats posted on a facebook page.

Police arrested 22 year old Wesley Snyder on Wednesday, after threats of a serious shooting were found.

Those threats directed toward specific people at Myrtle Creek area schools.

The entire South Umpqua school district was put on lock-down while police arrested Snyder at his home.

He was taken to the Douglas County Jail on disorderly conduct charges.
