Suspects lead police on chase

policechase(Updated 9/14 at 10 a.m.) — Two suspects are in custody after leaving police on a chase Saturday night.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says it began after a deputy tried pulling a vehicle over for reckless driving near sunset Sunset and Western Avenues in Medford.

At one point the chase was terminated when the driver began driving the wrong way on the road. Police eventually found the car on the 2400 block of Sayler Street in Medford. K-9 units were also called.

No names have been released at this time.


MEDFORD, ORE, —  Police are continuing to search for 4 suspects who led them on a chase Saturday night.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says it began after a deputy tried pulling a vehicle over for reckless driving near Sunset and Western Avenues in Medford.

The car didn’t pull over and instead led police on a chase.

At one point the chase was terminated when the driver began driving the wrong way on the road.

Police eventually found the car on the 2400 block of Salyer Street in Medford.

K9 units were called but have not been successful.

No descriptions have been released.
