Officials searching for escaped Tillamook inmate

OSPTillamook, Ore. — (KGW) Police are warning people that an inmate escaped from the Tillamook Youth Correction Facility on Saturday and he should be considered dangerous.

Joshua Garvin, 22, escaped from the facility sometime after noon, according to Ann Snyder of the Oregon Youth Authority. He is from Clackamas County and could be headed that way.

An extensive search of the area was conducted immediately and continued through Sunday, but so far, Garvin has not been found.

Garvin was described as being 5’9″ tall, and around 180 pounds, with short blond hair. When he escaped, he was wearing a camouflage Duck Dynasty sweatshirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.
