Tips on how to save money on energy costs

Medford, Ore. — Access is sharing ways you can help save money on energy costs.

They held an event at their Medford headquarters Monday, just days before weatherization day, which is Thursday, and provided information about Access low income weatherization program and how to conserve energy.

They focused more on little energy efficient things, making sure thermos is set properly furnace is clean will make a big difference.

As temperatures drop experts say set your furnace to 68 degrees and make sure your furnace filters are clean, also, keep interior doors open to make sure air circulates properly and keep south facing windows uncovered to radiate heat.
