Grants Pass, Ore.– Saturday was”Burn and Learn” training day for Rural Metro Firefighters.
30 firemen from practiced how to put out fires safely. Aresident donated his house on the 800 block of Coutant Lane for them to burn. And firefighters said practicing is a crucial part of their training.
“With these we take a lot of precautions. A lot of steps to make sure that everyone that’s attending today,” said Thomas Gulino.
It took about three hours to put out the intentional house fire.
