Talent, Ore. — Clean up efforts are underway in the valley after Saturday’s fall storm including in one Talent neighborhood where a tree came crashing down in a front yard. Colin Mollane says the tree was only ten years old but 40 feet tall. He says he was in the kitchen when he heard a big crash from outside but he didn’t know what it was until later.
“My wife comes home and she bursts into the house and goes ‘Colin!’, and i go ‘I’m on the phone’ and she says the tree fell down and I’m like ‘what!’ and the tree had just completely fallen down on the driveway,” said Mollane.
He says luckily the tree didn’t fall on his or his neighbors home and the car that is usually be parked right where the tree fell was being used.
