Grants Pass, Ore. — Big changes coming to the Grants Pass City Council as two members resign their seats on Monday.
Councilor Lily Morgan is stepping down to pursue a seat on the Josephine County Board of Commissioners. Her term was scheduled to expire at the beginning of January in 2017.
Councilor Mark Gatlin is also stepping down to become a stay-at-home dad.
Gatlin became a certified foster parent last week and will become a full-time foster parent. Gatlin’s tenure also was set to expire in January 2017.
Applications for the now-vacant seats are open until December 7th.
