New data reveals Oregon’s unemployment rate dropped to the lowest numbers in years.
Octobers unemployment rate dropped from 7.7 percent from 7.8 in September. It’s the lowest point this year, and the Oregon Unemployment Department reports: it’s
a five year low.
Although Oregon cut 500 jobs in October… taking the past few months in account, the state shows a gradual economic expansion.
However, we’re warned the numbers may also be affected by seasonal hiring.
