Volunteers help clean up for United Way’s 19th Day of Caring

You may have seen volunteers in these blue shirts out in your neighborhood.

There were more than 300 of them at 10 different locations in Jackson county for United Way’s 19th annual Day of Caring.

Volunteers at Ontrack did their part by pulling gravel and laying mulch.

“It makes you feel good to help others to give back to the community, so for me it’s a special day,” said volunteer Lance Reyes.

There were also participants in Downtown Medford. At Family Nurturing Center they worked to pull weeds and and decorate the hallways of the preschool.
