Grants Pass, Ore. — A Red-tailed hawk is back in the wild after completing its rehab at Wildlife Images.
The center says the hawk was brought in by retired sheriff and Jackson County commissioner CW Smith in late November.
The hawk was thin, had wounds to its face, beak and toes with a lesion to its eye. Now, after therapy, medication and rest, the hawk is able to fly again and is fully recovered.
