Workshop planned for Brookings businesses affected by fire

Brookings, Ore. — Governor Kate Brown spent Sunday in Brookings, meeting with the community about recovery efforts. A workshop ‘After the Fire’ is planned for Tuesday afternoon.

Anytime between 3 and 8 p.m., people are invited to go to the Southwestern Oregon Community College Brookings campus’ community room.

Information and resources will be available for owners of small woodland lots, and small businesses. Loans may also be available in the future for people who express interest.
