Josephine County, Ore. – A man was found dead Monday night north of Grants Pass. Police say it appears he died from an apparent gunshot wound.
Oregon State Police say they responded to a report of a shooting on Potts Way, just north of Grants Pass at around 8:15pm. Upon arrival, they found a deceased man, who officers have identified as 50-year-old Doug Hansen.
The investigation is ongoing, and police have not yet commented on whether or not the gunshot wound was self-inflicted.
